Water supply is arguably the single most important factor when considering remote operations. Poor quality of supply affects health, hygiene and morale and incorrect disposal of waste water can have similar effects.

As pressures on the natural environment grow, authorities and responsible end users are looking for alternative ways to economize on the use of this precious resource and better methods to assimilate the waste water, especially in areas where no municipal system exists. BMS uses experts and consultants in the relevant fields of water supply demand and disposal management to help design and install turnkey systems that satisfy the needs and requirements of user and regulatory body alike. Geological best-option surveys and rotary or percussion drilled, poly lined boreholes can be installed at chosen sites with a variety of pumping options available to the customer.

Semi-solid waste aeration breakdown systems and constructed wetland solutions that meet local environmental body standards are generally preferred to less-friendly chemical or sludge tanker options in remote areas. Bulk water storage, piped water distribution networks, system pressurization options (gravity or pump) and potable water purification systems for saline or non-saline sources can be supplied and installed.

BMS offers diesel supply and management solutions for any size of operation.

The company owns a number of stationary, skid mounted and mobile fuel bowsers, pumps and distribution systems. For static installations, full environmental bunding is provided with impervious membrane and soil or stone walled perimeter ""moats"" being offered, depending on the location and permissible footprint.

If more complex solutions are required, such as real time satellite tracking of mobile plant and assets, bonding of fuel supply vessels for security during transit and full fuel usage and monitoring systems, these can be quoted for using our expert sub-contractors in these fields.

Fuel usage can mean the difference between profit and loss in marginal operations, and the temptations regarding its theft and misuse can be very strong. BMS has encountered (and subsequently countered) many simple as well as elaborate frauds involving fuel and brings this experience to the fore when offering fuel management solutions.
