Paul Sherwen is a Non-Executive Director and Founder of BMS Minerals Ltd. He also runs a gold mining business in Uganda. Paul lives in Kampala with his wife, Katherine, and two children. Paul has been involved in the mining business in Uganda since 1996, however his family have been in the mining business in Uganda since 1964. Paul is also the current Chairman of the Uganda Chamber of Mines. Paul Sherwen is an expert cycling commentator. Commentating for much of the Versus’s cycling programming, including the Tour de France and previously for all the major US Networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, Turner Sports & ESPN) as well as many international broadcasters as well including ITV, Channel 4, MNet and SBS (Australia). As a professional cyclist, Paul was a two-time British National Cycling champion (1986 and 1987), participated in the Tour de France seven times and raced in all major European tours and one-day classics. Since his sporting retirement, he has continued his involvement in the cycling industry. |
